The assessment & promotion criteria are based on CBSE norms. The assessment consists of both curricular and co-curricular activities and it continues throughout the year continuously till the session ends. The curricular activities consists of class tests, achievement tests, diagnostic tests, half yearly exams and term end exams, whereas co curricular activities consists of music, art & craft, sports etc. The students are evaluated on a continual basis in both the curricular and co-curricular activities and are assigned marks or grades.
Promotion is based on the student’s performance throughout the year till the term end exams. If the student successfully clears his/her annual examination, he/she gets promoted and if any student fails in any one subject then the student is promoted with a condition that he/she needs to clear the paper before the new session begins. If the student fails in more than one subject then he/she is detained in that particular class and the promotion is denied.
